Wendy Rogers is Retiring After 35 Years of Service
One of Duke & Cooke’s longest-serving employees, Wendy Rogers, will be retiring at the end of November. Wendy has been a loyal and hardworking employee of Duke & Cooke for 35 years.
Wendy has primarily worked as PA to Dick Bennison, our rural valuation specialist. She has an understanding of Dick’s work and his clients. Her knowledge comes from years of experience, and her expertise will be impossible to replace.
Wendy has seen many changes while working for Duke & Cooke. She has worked with numerous Duke & Cooke employees over the years and has seen a huge change in technology. When Wendy started her employment, she used carbon paper to make copies of documents. Then came golf-ball typewriters, memory typewriters and finally computer technology.
When Duke & Cooke celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2014, former staff were most eager to catch up with Wendy – a testament that Wendy has influenced and impressed those she has worked with over three and a half decades.
Now it is time for Wendy and her husband Max to enjoy the next stage of their lives and spend more time with their two children and five grandchildren. We wish her all the best for her retirement years and will be very sad to see her leave.
Teresa joined Duke & Cooke in March as the Office and Finance Manager.
She has over 30 years’ experience in administration and IT, with more than 20 of those years in senior office management roles. She also has project management qualifications and is very process orientated. Teresa and her husband Mike have two grown children. In Teresa’s spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking and travelling.
